1: How to Make a Will using the Will Guide
Once you have decided how your estate will be distributed, drawing up the Will document is straight forward. Just follow these simple steps:
- Select who you want to be the executors of your Will. They must know where your Will is kept, so it can be found and executed.
- Read through the sample Wills and the additional clauses. See which ones are best suited to your wishes and use them as a base for your Will.
- Copy the template Will adding your details, the executors details and any additional clauses you wish to add.
- Select two people to witness the signing of the Will, they can not be beneficiaries, and all sign the Will.
Do not forget to keep your Will in a safe place. The executors must know where to obtain the Will upon your death or it will not be executed.
